Hello! My name is Maria, I am a multi-faceted photographer. I have been working with the medium for 7 years. I am an analog enthusiast and specialize in Polaroid, 35mm + 120 film as well as digital formats.
I live in Southern Maine & work all over the greater New England area, as well as New York City.
I approach the act of photographing a subject as a documentarian.
I have a keen eye for detail, I am skilled at capturing both the small and major moments along with the journey.
In my work I tend to focus on contrast and shadows. My work is characterized by soft lighting, and warm tones, to create images that evoke a sense of intimacy and vulnerability.
